The use of virtual worlds to test the robustness of economic models in controlled experiments with more naturalistic cognitive cues and social interactions will be presented. Our research is interested in two primary topics -- how subjects form beliefs about the strategic nature of the game in which they find themselves and how their strategies and beliefs co-evolve with practice. I will also talk about how our experiments, used for research, are adapted to become demonstration experiments in the classroom.
